Maintaining Your Marble

marble maintenance

To maintain marble countertops, clean them daily with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water. Avoid acidic substances like vinegar, lemon juice, or harsh cleaners, as marble is sensitive and can etch or dull. Always use coasters under drinks and trivets under hot cookware to protect the surface. Wipe up spills immediately—especially wine, coffee, or citrus—to prevent staining.

Never use abrasive pads or scrubbers. Sealing your marble every 6–12 months helps maintain its resistance to stains and moisture. With gentle care and regular maintenance, your marble countertops will stay elegant and timeless.
